NeedAPaw started with a simple, familiar frustration: no matter how often we vacuumed, brushed, or wiped down the couch, pet hair kept winning. So instead of chasing one miracle gadget, we put together a small, focused routine — three tools that actually cover the real stages of living with a shedding dog or cat.
Most pet hair products promise to fix everything with a single tool. In our experience, that's not how shedding actually works. Loosening the undercoat before it sheds is a different job than cleaning up at bath time, which is different again from lifting hair that's already embedded in a couch cushion, a car seat, or a laundry pile. Trying to do all three with one brush usually means doing none of them particularly well.
So instead of building around a single hero product, we built NeedAPaw around a routine: a deshedding comb for the undercoat, a bath brush for wash day, and a hair removal mitt for the fur that's already made it onto your furniture and clothes. Each tool does its own job well, and together they cover the whole cycle — not just the parts that are easy to market.
We're a small team, and we try to stay honest about what each product can and can't do rather than overselling it. If something doesn't earn its place in the routine, it doesn't make the cut. If it does, we'll keep carrying it and keep listening when customers tell us how it's actually working for their pets.
